Acceptance of terms

By connecting to our Rust or The Isle servers, using ruins.fyi, or joining our Discord, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

Eligibility

You must be able to lawfully use Steam, Discord, and any platform you choose to link (Patreon, TikTok, YouTube), and must meet each of those platforms' own minimum age requirements. You're responsible for keeping your own accounts secure.

Account linking

A Steam sign-in is required to use most of the website. Linking Discord, Patreon, TikTok, or YouTube is optional and only requested when a specific feature needs it (for example, the Creator Program requires linking the platform you create content on so we can verify ownership and public statistics). You can request to disconnect a linked platform at any time via Discord.

Virtual currency

Fossils and Amber are virtual, in-game currencies with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred outside our platform, and are not redeemable through any means other than the features on ruins.fyi. We may adjust, correct, or reset balances to fix bugs, reverse exploited transactions, or respond to abuse, at staff discretion.

Creator Program

The Creator Program is an optional application process for community content creators. By applying, you confirm that any linked platform account and any statistics or content you submit are genuinely yours and accurate. EU Ruins reviews applications and grants rewards at staff discretion; approval, tier placement, and reward amounts are not guaranteed. Read-only access granted through a linked platform is used only to verify eligibility — we do not post, edit, or delete content on your behalf.

Marketplace and Dino Shop

Player-to-player marketplace listings are between the players involved; EU Ruins facilitates the transaction but is not a party to it. Purchases through the Amber Dino Shop are final once completed. We may intervene in a listing or transaction where fraud, exploitation, or a technical error is suspected.

Prohibited conduct

  • Cheating, using unauthorized third-party software, or exploiting bugs for unfair advantage.
  • Attempting to manipulate wallet balances, marketplace prices, or reward systems outside of normal gameplay.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of other players or staff.
  • Impersonating staff or another player, or misrepresenting your identity when linking a platform account.
  • Attempting to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to the servers, website, Discord, or Discord bot.

Moderation and enforcement

Staff may issue warnings, kicks, temporary or permanent bans, or remove access to specific features in response to rule violations, at their discretion. Moderation actions and related history may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy. If you believe an action was taken in error, you can appeal through our Discord.

Service availability

We don't guarantee uninterrupted access to the servers, website, or Discord. Servers may be wiped, restarted, updated, or taken offline for maintenance, and we're not liable for data loss or downtime resulting from that.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any part of our services for violating these terms, without prior notice where the situation requires it.

Limitation of liability

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EU Ruins is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of in-game progress, items, or virtual currency.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
